Our client is a rapidly growing online auction service for the benefit of nonprofits, Our client is recruiting for a Java Software Developer to join their development team in a full-time role. Their primary applications are Java-based; however, there are plenty of opportunities to use Ruby on Rails, Redis, Solr, etc. if you're interested. Our client’s development team is a small, friendly group that focuses on delivering great software to clients without a lot of process overhead. Written communication skills are important (you may be asked to provide a writing sample) as well as an ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-type environment. This position will report to the VP of Engineering in our client’s Cambridge, MA office and work in conjunction with their Chief Architect.
